Monkey See Monkey Do

I just had to take some pictures of the monkeys in the kitchen. Since I sweep the floor at LEAST 5 times a day, the twins always fight over the broom so they can model my behavior. They also fight over who gets a rag when I start cleaning the countertops, so of course, they both get a rag to "Help" me. I just wish this modeling stage lasted a little longer.

I can't wait until my monkeys are older and they can really help.
They need to start earnin' their keep! J/K :)

Good to see you're back on! :)

Isn't all this 'HELP' so much fun? My monkeys like to help in the laundry room.

Also, I have to mention, our dining areas are decorated totally alike. Same window coverings (only mine are just valences), same wall color and same chairs. Great minds think alike!

I love this stage. Too bad it doesn't last until they can actually, really help you. They're so cute. And Lynette, yours will be there soon. I so enjoy not touching the dishes anymore.

My kids do the same. Lately, Danny is going through a laundry and cooking phase. It's great, except that he gets a bit overzealous, like he will put clean clothes in the washing machine, etc. Also, he has been insisting that I make pancakes EVERY morning, so that he can help make the batter. If I happen to have leftover pancakes or batter, he refuses to eat those. Oh, no, he makes me make another batch from scratch. He loves cracking the eggs!

they can come to my house! I wish Amanda (2) would model my behavior even just a little of the time...she loves to make messes. So cute! Hope you are all doing well.
